Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

This position reports to the Director of Policy & Business Development and assists with 340B program operations, including auditing and using data analysis to optimize specific areas of focus within the program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Upholds and supports the mission, philosophy, objectives, policies and ethics of CHSI.
  2. Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  3. Develops and organizes materials for presentations and collateral material as required by the Director of Policy & Business Development
  4. Stays abreast of current and future public policy that may impact the 340B program.
  5. Actively engages with senior leadership and participates in decision-making processes related to the implementation of new 340B processes.
  6. Assists with 340b program maintenance and optimization, including through the use of data analysis
  7. Monitors and assesses 340B guidance and/or rule changes. Attends regular 340B training courses and shares lessons on hot topics.
  8. Develops, executes, and documents any reports or audits of the 340B program, and coordinates and ensures remediation of any findings.
  9. Ensures compliance with the 340B program policies and procedures.
  10. Develops and maintains internal relationships with all relevant departments and external relationships with, but not limited to: wholesalers, manufacturers, contract pharmacies, and software vendors, as needed.
  11. Perform all other duties as directed either formally or informally, verbally or in writing.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No direct supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Previous experience in healthcare is preferred, including FQHCs & 340B.
  • Demonstrated track record of analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Detailed and strategy oriented.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A high standard of professionalism is expected in speech, manner, attitude and appearance at all times.
  • Possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to deal effectively with changing situations and stressful environments.
  • Ability to perform tasks related to physical activity to complete the responsibilities of the position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Three years or more of related experience required. Bachelor’s degree or five years of experience preferred.
  • Must be able to travel locally 40% of the time
