Position Description

The Account / Project Manager is a pivotal liaison between Wendover and its customers. Serving both the Residential and Commercial segments, this role requires a comprehensive understanding of Wendover’s entire product range, including those of acquired brands. The successful candidate will proactively engage with customers to identify their needs and deliver tailored solutions, all while managing challenges within the manufacturing environment. This position demands problem-solving skills, the ability to think on one’s feet, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of project and customer management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships with both Residential and Commercial clients.
  • Fully understand Wendover’s product capabilities and acquired brands to serve customers effectively and provide comprehensive product solutions.
  • Proactively manage projects from inception through delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production, design, and logistics, to meet project goals and customer expectations.
  • Identify potential challenges early and find creative, solution-oriented approaches to resolve them.
  • Communicate any project or product issues to customers promptly and professionally, working to ensure minimal disruption to the customer’s experience.
  • Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of project execution, from initial discussions to final delivery.
  • Balance multiple projects and customer needs, managing time and schedules effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all communication—internal and external—is clear, consistent, and timely.
  • Continuously evaluate project progress, identifying areas for improvement and working to optimize processes for the customer’s benefit.
  • Support the continuous improvement of customer service protocols to exceed customer expectations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an account or project management role, preferably in the manufacturing, residential, or commercial sectors.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all aspects of customer requests are accurately understood and addressed.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, as well as independently when needed.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with a diverse range of customer needs and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining professionalism while managing challenges.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards is a plus.
