Summary
The Life & Annuity Sales Director is a sales position within IMS Associates, responsible for generating new sales accounts and supporting existing independent financial and insurance advisors. The position comprises of both outbound sales duties as well as supporting and contributing to the day to day efforts of the general sales and marketing team. The primary objective of the positions is generating Annuity and Life Insurance sales with independent advisors. Knowledge and Experience in Life Insurance, Annuity, and Financial Services in general is required. Position will include specific job training for the lines of business mentioned as needed.
Sales duties include making daily outbound sales calls, taking inbound inquires, internal account support, in-person advisor sales meetings inside and outside of the office, advisor training, hosting webinars and seminars, and conducting personal sales directly with consumers. Travel will be required for the position which may include both local and long-distance travel.
Support activities include supporting and working with other team members and Ownership with day to day sales opportunities, product and underwriting inquiries, supporting accounts assigned to the Sales Director and supporting account not assigned accounts, and general sales & marketing efforts.
The Sales Direction position is an at-will position. This means that IMS Associates may terminate the Sales Director, and the Sales Director may quit, with or without cause, and at any time. The at-will status of the Sales Director may only change by a written employment agreement signed by an authorized agent of IMS Associates and the Sales Director. No other document or representation, whether a policy handbook, communications, or writing (other than a signed employment agreement) shall be interpreted to be in conflict with or to eliminate or modify in any way, the at-will employment status of the Sales Director.
