We are seeking a highly motivated, hard-working individual for a Full-Time position to sell Managed IT Services and Physical Security to businesses in our area. The primary focus of the Sales Representative is to find and close new prospects by handling onsite appointments and providing demonstrations. We also specialize in providing IT support, including computer/ technical help desk support, and consulting services to businesses along with Fire/Security installation, cameras and access control.

Main Duties:

  • Assist clients by offering Managed Service Plans, Managed Security Plans, Private Cloud Solutions (application and desktop hosting), and Network installation projects (including turn-key hardware and software solutions).
  • Assist clients with the following: cameras, access control, D&V cabling, Fire /Security.
  • Initiate contact with prospects generated by the Marketing Team.
  • Generate leads and prospects through networking, events, cold-calling and other activities.
  • Work with prospects to develop a deep understanding of their needs, translate those needs into product requirements, and provide solutions that satisfy their demands.
  • Conduct presentations showcasing the company's services and products to prospects.
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations.
  • Work with management to develop proposals and collaborate with technical team to develop solutions for prospects.
  • Manage the complexity of Managed IT services proposals, contracts, lease agreements, and service level agreements.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the company's service offerings.
  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities while remaining compliant with defined policies and procedures.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customers’ needs.
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for entering time and expenses as they occur.
  • Understand processes by completing assigned training materials.
  • Enter all work as activities.
  • Frequent local travel required.
  • Grow our recurring revenue stream.

Daily Activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Meeting with customers to discuss projects and service plans.
  • Presenting quotes and closing deals.
  • Developing solutions for customers involving the service team when necessary.
  • Calling or canvassing prospects and suspects.
  • Assisting with email campaigns and marketing content.
  • Attending project hand-off meetings to ensure the success of the service team.
  • Recording activities in our sales tracking system.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B Outside Sales Experience selling relevant services and products.
  • Track record of managing customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process.
  • Basic understanding of modern technology solutions and proficiency with general office applications.
  • Demonstrated success in developing client relationships and ability to quickly build rapport and trust
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet a business need with a technical solution.
  • Enjoyment of working with customers and external audiences.
  • High energy and drive with good negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Skill in preparing written communications and materials.
  • Interpersonal skills: telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer care.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • ConnectWise SELL experience is a plus.
  • Industry sales certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
