Bank Branch Manager
Branch Manager Location: Sugarland, Tx
Full-Time Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, and every other Saturday, 8:45 am - 1:15 pm.
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, staff management, financial performance, and member service. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and profitability while aligning with the organization?s mission, vision, and values.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Staff Development
Recruit, train, and manage branch staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
Facilitate staff meetings to communicate updates, process changes, and organizational goals.
Branch Operations
Oversee teller cash drawers, vaults, recyclers/CDMs, and ATMs; review daily cash flow reports.
Ensure compliance with policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Manage branch safety, security, and facility upkeep.
Administer branch resources for efficient daily operations.
Financial Management & Compliance
Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue, attract new members, and retain existing ones.
Oversee branch budgets to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Monitor accounts for fraud and ensure proper account procedures.
Coordinate surprise and quarterly audits, manage return items, and support collections.
Member Experience
Lead by example to deliver excellent member service and acknowledgment.
Act as liaison with other credit unions to resolve shared branching issues.
Represent the branch in community outreach and business development initiatives.
Professional Development
Attend training and meetings to remain current on best practices and compliance standards.
Share knowledge with staff to improve overall branch performance.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred (not required).
5?8 years of progressive experience , including supervisory or management roles.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to delivering outstanding member service and fostering team collaboration.
Proven ability to problem-solve, innovate, and leverage financial technology solutions.
Skilled at managing multiple priorities and maintaining efficiency under pressure.
