Title: Business Analyst

Location: 3 days on site in Irving

Rate - 55-70 (open)

State - asap, contract, possible contract to perm

Required:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Pharma OR medical device highly preferred (not required)
• 3–5 years of relevant experience required.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.
• Intermediate SQL skills preferred.
• Understanding of design thinking principles.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The Business Analyst is responsible for partnering with Product Management or Business Operations to develop user stories and maintain a product backlog that supports evolving business needs. This role also manages the intake and request process, working closely with the Product Owner/Manager to define, justify, and prioritize new product developments or projects.

• Serve as a liaison between end-users, product management, and development teams to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories.
• Develop and maintain prioritized product backlogs.
• Conduct interviews and discovery sessions with stakeholders and business owners.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.
• Provide ongoing support during design, development, and QA testing by clarifying requirements.
• Assist stakeholders with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring alignment with expectations.
