Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead our healthcare data analytics initiatives. This role is pivotal in transforming raw healthcare data into actionable insights that improve patient care, streamline operations, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BI technologies and a deep understanding of healthcare data, including HL7 standards, EMR systems, and patient privacy compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of healthcare BI solutions using Power BI , SSIS , and enterprise Data Warehousing platforms.
• Manage a team of BI developers and analysts, setting clear goals and ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Oversee data integration from multiple healthcare sources, including EMRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner) , billing systems, and third-party platforms.
• Ensure accuracy, security, and compliance of patient data, following HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards.
• Work with HL7 interfaces and other healthcare data exchange standards to normalize and integrate data across systems.
• Maintain documentation of BI architecture, data lineage, and reporting standards.
• Drive data governance initiatives and promote a data-driven culture across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience working with healthcare data , including HL7 , EMRs , EHRs , claims data , or clinical data .
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI , SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) , and data warehousing .
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting best practices.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and handling of protected health information (PHI).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
• Knowledge of additional healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, CDA, DICOM)
