Cash Posting Specialist Responsibilities:

• Process, balance, and post all cash receipt items, including checks, credit cards, and electronically transferred funds
• Ensure timely and accurate application of payments to patient accounts following company policies and standards
• Reconcile discrepancies and research payment issues to maintain accurate financial records
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve posting errors and ensure compliance with guidelines
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance cash posting operations

Cash Posting Specialist Requirements:

• Previous experience in cash posting, accounts receivable, or a related financial role is required
• Familiarity with healthcare billing systems and procedures is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
