About the Company

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead and oversee the clinical operations and medical services of a rapidly growing behavioral health organization. With ambitious plans to establish a national presence in the near future, this leadership position offers the unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of comprehensive mental health services across multiple regions while ensuring clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

About the Role

The candidate must be an M.D. or D.O.-accredited Psychiatrist with a proven track record in medical leadership, strategic program development, and multidisciplinary team management. The role requires a deep commitment to providing innovative, patient-centered care and driving growth across diverse markets.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement clinical strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services.

Clinical Oversight:

  • Oversee clinical operations and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Establish and maintain clinical protocols, policies, and quality improvement initiatives.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, fostering collaboration and professional development.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.

Program Development:

  • Drive innovation in behavioral health service delivery, ensuring the implementation of best practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership to expand and optimize clinical programs across new and existing markets.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a clinical liaison with external partners, payers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Represent the organization in clinical matters and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Must be an M.D. or D.O.-accredited Psychiatrist with active board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a clinical or healthcare management role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health services, including adult and geriatric care.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead clinical teams across multiple regions while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Compensation: $375,000 - $400,000 annually, with a performance-based bonus (TBD).
