Job Title: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) / Head of Clinical Development

Location: SF Bay Area

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) / Head of Clinical Development to lead the clinical strategy and development of our pipeline in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of clinical development experience in biotech, with a focus on cardiovascular (preferably electrophysiology ), gout, and antiarrhythmic therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical development strategy, including trial design and execution, for our cardiovascular and metabolic disease programs.
• Drive clinical programs in cardiovascular (preferably electrophysiology ), gout, and antiarrhythmic drugs.
• Manage relationships with the FDA, contribute to regulatory submissions, and represent the company in discussions with KOLs.
• Provide leadership to the clinical team and ensure high performance in a fast-paced biotech environment.
• Present clinical data to investors, stakeholders, and at industry events.

Qualifications:

• MD, licensed in the U.S.
• 10+ years of experience in clinical development, including significant experience in biotech or small-to-medium-sized companies.
• Expertise in cardiovascular (preferably electrophysiology ) or metabolic diseases (gout and antiarrhythmic drugs preferred).
• Proven ability to design and execute clinical trials and navigate FDA regulatory processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Local to the SF Bay Area (Fremont or Newark).
