Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of commercial and industrial chiller systems. This includes air-cooled and water-cooled chillers from leading manufacturers such as Trane, Carrier, York, and Daikin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC chiller systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to established procedures and OEM guidelines.
• Start up, commission, and optimize new chiller installations.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Respond to emergency service calls and complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with commercial HVAC and chiller systems.
• Proficiency with centrifugal, screw, and scroll chillers.
• Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification required.
• Technical certification or associate degree in HVAC/R preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC theory, electrical systems, and control systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
