🧩 The Role:

As our next Estimator , you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our preconstruction efforts—working closely with the executive team, project managers, and clients to deliver accurate, competitive bids that win work and build lasting relationships.

🛠 Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, restaurant, and retail projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Assist with value engineering and constructability reviews
• Collaborate with project managers and clients during the bidding and handoff process

✅ Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a construction estimator (commercial/retail/restaurant preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar)
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines

• Experience estimating projects in Santa Cruz or the broader Bay Area
• Familiarity with local subcontractor market
