Job Description

Assist the Materials Lab in performing various materials property tests on materials used for road and bridge construction, assist the Auger Crew with performing field investigation of place pavements and soils and/or assist Material Engineers with collecting and compiling data from various historical sources. Typical Hours (Monday - Friday) 7:00AM - 3:30PM.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Knowledge and application of advanced mathematics including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Knowledge of computer software used in testing and design work and ability to use windows based operating systems.
• Ability to understand technical documents and follow instructions.
• Candidates must be currently enrolled or enrolling within three months as a full-time student (six semester/9 quarter credits) in a post-secondary or graduate program with a GPA of at least 2.0.
• Valid Class D Driver’s License.
