Russell Tobin's client, an American multinational financial services company, is hiring a Data Entry Specialist in Minneapolis, MN 55402 (Hybrid)

Location: Minneapolis, MN 55402 (Hybrid)

Work Type: Hybrid (Training 2–4 weeks onsite full-time, then mandatory onsite Tuesday–Thursday weekly)

Duration: 08+ Months with the possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $15.00 to $15.96 per hour

Schedule: Standard Business Hours

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume data entry tasks with precision and accuracy
• Manually key and upload Excel files into internal processing tools
• Review and validate data for completeness and accuracy
• Work independently to complete daily workload within deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data responsibly
• Collaborate with internal teams when necessary to resolve data discrepancies

Required Skills:

• Proven data entry experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain focus and productivity while handling repetitive tasks

Preferred Skills:

• Strong time management and prioritization abilities
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with banking, financial services, or claims processing
• Experience managing work queues efficiently

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• No minimum education beyond high school necessary
• Previous experience in mortgage, banking, or data entry roles preferred

Additional Information:

• This is a non-customer-facing, back-office support position
• Public transportation is available; parking costs are the contractor’s responsibility
• No mandatory overtime; optional during peak periods
• Possibility for conversion within the company, though not guaranteed
