Deposit Operations Specialist

Location: San Francisco, CA

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist new and existing client relationships
  • Ensure new accounts processes are adhered to including required documentation, retention, and all regulatory requirements including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act and Know Your Customer.
  • Maintain in-depth understanding of products and services and correcting any errors and responding to all client inquiries promptly.
  • Support with collecting loan applications, financial documents of prospects.
  • Responsible for product setup and deposit operations,
  • Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assist with addressing client complaints and inquiries; maintain contact with clients through telephone or written communication, as needed.
  • Assist with contacting clients on maturing CDARS and CDs in a timely manner for transfers and reinvestments.
  • Ensure all bank-required training is completed on time.
  • Complete any other assignment that is deemed necessary by the head of private banking to grow business.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of banking operational knowledge of deposit and cash management banking regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills with both internal and external clients.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel; knowledge of Salesforce.
  • A thorough knowledge of all bank services, deposit compliance regulations, Bank Secrecy Act, and management experience.
  • A high level of client service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively throughout the Bank and to represent the Bank positively to current and potential clients.
