Technical Skills

• Design FMEA & Validation Planning : Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R processes is essential.
• Creo (or similar CAD tools) : Basic proficiency in Creo is preferred, but experience with other solid modeling tools is acceptable.
• Engineering Fundamentals : Strong academic background in:
• Mechanics of Materials
• Thermodynamics
• Fluid Dynamics
• Simulation Coordination : Ability to coordinate and interpret results from FEA and CFD simulations (not necessarily perform them).
• Design Release Experience : End-to-end ownership from concept to production release of components.

Collaboration & Communication

• Supplier Interaction : Prior experience working with suppliers, including quoting, DFMEA, validation, and APQP processes.
• Cross-functional Teamwork : Ability to collaborate with procurement, simulation, manufacturing, and test engineering teams.
• Presentation Skills : Comfortable presenting in internal design reviews and communicating across departments.

• Experience Range :
• Minimum : 2 years with a Master’s degree.
• Upper Limit : Candidates with less than 12 years are more preferred
• Local to Peoria is plus
