Job Description

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience with Digital Assets.
• The contractor should have good customer service skills and a willingness to learn and adapt as needed.
• Other good skills or experience to have would be IT experience, true (non-digital) librarian experience, technical writing or Photo/Video production.
• This is an Agile team and there will be daily ceremonies, the contractor will be working with teams in both Orlando and occasionally international colleagues.
• The day to day will consist of gathering hard drives, uploading assets, supporting end users with library search requests, general end user support is a huge priority.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Applies appropriate metadata to creative assets including but not limited to keywording, naming convention, tracking data related to usage rights, including custom attributes. - 30%
• Provides management over asset lifecycles - 30%
• Manage from upload through sunset,
• Provide maintenance of the media on which assets reside. This will include but is not limited to maintaining storage hardware and digital cloud-based tools.
• Ensure assets of all types, including raw assets, are shepherded through their storage lifecycles.
• Provides search services to DAM system users. This includes keeping up to date on the tools, hardware, and media used in the DAM industry. - 10 %
• Ensures that assets are preserved and accessible by the library user groups. This includes, but is not limited to, application of robust, searchable metadata and application of industry standard backup best practices. - 10%
• As needed and on a regular cadence, develops and delivers user training to ensure users understand the library tools employed and provision of user education about usage of filterable terms. - 10%
• Actively participates in all Agile ceremonies with team. - 10%
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
