About the Role:
This role requires experience in wet utilities and familiarity with multi-family housing and municipal projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively communicate with superintendents, GCs, and budget managers, and is eager to contribute to a company that values both technical expertise and a fun, collaborative culture.
What You’ll Do:
Mentor and manage a team of 2-3 estimators, fostering their growth and development.
Prepare precise cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
Analyze construction documents (blueprints, specifications) to determine project scope and costs.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to compile estimates and aid in budget development.
Assist in bid solicitation and review submissions for contract compliance.
Attend pre-bid meetings and contribute to project qualification interviews.
Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategies and estimating improvements.
Ensure timely reporting and maintain strong vendor and contractor relationships.
What You Bring to the Table:
Over 5 years of estimating experience, ready to step into a leadership role or already an experienced manager.
Expertise in wet utilities, multi-family housing, or municipal projects.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing estimators or project teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to read and analyze construction documents for commercial and civil projects.
Strong communication skills for vendor and client interactions.
Procore experience (preferred).
Location and Schedule:
Location: Frisco, TX (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 45-50 hours per week
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 (DOE)
