FP&A and Benefits Analyst

** Please note that this role sits in Hickory, NC 2 days a week**

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic FP&A and Benefits Analyst to lead our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, manage payroll operations, and oversee employee benefits administration. This role is critical to maintaining financial health and stability, ensuring accurate compensation processes, and supporting our employee experience through effective benefits management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses.
  • Partner with departmental leaders to support strategic planning and performance tracking.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Manage Allocation schedules across departments for budgeting vs actuals.

Payroll Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with HR and finance to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors.
  • Experience with HRIS.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer and maintain employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks and related reporting.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries and liaise with benefits vendors and brokers.
  • Ensure compliance with benefits-related laws and regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, ERISA).
  • Support annual open enrollment and employee education efforts.
  • Managing insurance enrollment, claims processing, and related administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 3-5 year's work experience in related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Strong ability to use programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook for data management and communication.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting, modeling, KPI management and Financial Reporting.
  • Experience in payroll and benefits administration
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with employees at all levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Paid Time Off and Company Paid Holidays:

  • Feetures offers 20 PTO days which are available to you on day-one of employment and are available to all employees, no matter your role. After working at Feetures for 5 years, your PTO days will increase to 25 days. These days can be used for vacations, appointments, and sick days.
  • Additionally, Feetures offers 10 company paid holidays along with 1 floating holiday to be used at your discretion.
