Location: New York, NY

Job Type: Full-time, 5 Days a Week, In-Office

About Almar Sales Company: Almar Sales Company is a leader in the accessory industry, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality accessories. We are passionate about creating products that enhance the lifestyle of our customers. Our team is dedicated to providing innovative solutions and exceptional customer experiences. We are looking for a creative and talented Production Graphic Designer to join our growing team and contribute to our visual content creation.

Job Overview: As a Production Graphic Designer at Almar Sales Company, you will play a critical role in the creation, design, and preparing for presentations. Your work will focus on creating and designing product carding, mocking up products on cards, and preparing presentation materials for key meetings and client presentations. Your ability to blend creativity with attention to detail will directly impact the visual representation of our products and help to communicate their value to our clients.

In addition to your design work, you’ll collaborate closely with the merchandising, product development, production, and sales teams to ensure that all visual content is on-brand, polished, and delivered on time. Your role will be essential in producing materials that support product launches, presentations, and meetings, helping to bring new concepts to life and create a strong visual identity for Almar Sales Company’s products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and Design Carding: Develop new carding designs for accessories, ensuring each piece aligns with the product's branding and enhances its presentation. This includes selecting appropriate color schemes, typography, and layouts to best showcase the product.
  • Mock-Up Products on Cards: This includes printing the card designs, cutting them to size, and adhering the product to the carding in a precise and polished manner. Ensure that each card is sized correctly and the product does not cover any of the wording or visuals. High quality and attention to detail for a professional final presentation.
  • Prepare Presentation Boards: Design and assemble product boards for internal and external presentations, ensuring all product visuals are on-brand and professionally presented. This includes formatting, arranging imagery, and aligning each visual element to tell a cohesive story.
  • Enhance Product Images and Graphics: Use your skills in production to edit product images, enhance visuals, and maintain consistency across the brand. This includes retouching photos, color correction, and composition.
  • Maintain Consistency Across All Visual Materials: Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining a cohesive look and feel across product cards, presentation materials, digital assets, and other visual collateral.
  • Stay Updated with Design Trends: Continuously research and implement new design trends, tools, and techniques in both graphic design and production to keep our materials fresh and visually compelling.
  • Support the Product Development Teams: Collaborate with the product development teams to create new visual concepts for upcoming campaigns, product releases, and seasonal collections.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Production Graphic Designer or similar role, preferably in the accessory or fashion industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • A robust portfolio showcasing production work and graphic design.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and composition.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Access to cutting-edge design software and tools.

How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit a resume, portfolio, and a brief cover letter explaining why they’re a perfect fit for this position.
