House Supervisor RN (Permanent Role)

Location: Kane, PA

Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

$32.00/hr + $1.75 Night Shift Differential

One Full-Time Opening

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (House Supervisor) to join our team in Kane, PA. This is a permanent night-shift position supporting resident care in a long-term care environment.

As the House Supervisor, you will oversee nursing services, support direct patient care, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. You will play a key leadership role in supporting CNAs, LPNs, and nursing staff during evening and overnight hours.

  • 84 hours per biweekly pay period
  • Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care
  • Administer medications, treatments, and monitor resident conditions
  • Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders
  • Update and maintain resident care plans
  • Assist with physician rounds, treatments, and examinations
  • Collect and process lab specimens and ensure accurate documentation
  • Respond to emergencies and exercise independent clinical judgment
  • Complete incident reports, vital signs, weights, and other documentation
  • Delegate assignments, adjust staffing, and support team communication
  • Assist with resident transfers, admissions, and post-mortem procedures
  • Maintain narcotics counts and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Monitor infection control practices
  • Participate in quality assurance studies
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report safety hazards

Requirements

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active PA RN License OR Temporary PA Work Permit (Required at interview)
  • BLS (AHA) Required
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Required

Experience

  • New graduates accepted
  • Nursing home/long-term care experience — Preferred
  • Strong understanding of nursing theory and clinical application
  • Knowledge of:
  • Medical asepsis
  • Body mechanics
  • Personal care of residents
  • Equipment use and safety
  • Observation and reporting techniques
