Payroll HR Assistant
Our client located in Buford, Georgia is in need of a Payroll HR Assistant. This is an hourly direct hire opportunity.

Payroll HR Assistant Role:
Manage manual payroll processing for 160+ employees and in-house subcontractors (60–70% of workload)
Handle employee relations, claims management, onboarding, and offboarding (30–40% of workload)
Lead employee orientation sessions once per month, ensuring an engaging and welcoming experience
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and files
Act as a proactive, approachable point of contact for employee questions and concerns
Assist with occasional translation of short documents using Google Translate
Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR department
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
Payroll HR Assistant Background Profile:
Strong payroll processing experience required (manual payroll preferred)
Outgoing, people-oriented personality with the ability to engage employees in the field confidently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Well-organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn HR/payroll systems quickly
Prior HR support experience (onboarding, employee relations, claims) preferred
Comfortable balancing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Note: HR certifications are not required or desired for this role
