Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Description:

All Year Cooling and Plumbing is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems for our valued customers. Your expertise in HVAC equipment and systems will ensure the efficient operation and optimal performance of our customers' heating and cooling systems. We proudly serve both South Florida and the Gulf Coast, including the Naples area.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Perform diagnostic tests and inspections to identify issues and malfunctions in HVAC systems.
2. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems of HVAC equipment, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
3. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, lubricating motors, and changing filters, to ensure proper system functionality.
4. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system problems and implement appropriate solutions.
5. Test and calibrate HVAC systems to ensure they meet performance specifications and energy efficiency standards.
6. Provide recommendations to customers regarding necessary repairs, upgrades, or replacements of HVAC equipment.
7. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used for billing and warranty purposes.
8. Collaborate with other technicians, dispatchers, and customer service representatives to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturer guidelines to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
10. Adhere to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Service Technician in the HVAC industry.
2. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and components.
3. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various types of HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
4. Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and control system troubleshooting and repair.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
6. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
7. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet service deadlines.
8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
9. EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required.
10. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
