Salary: $75k-$95k

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 4-7 years POST GRAD ( not inclusive of internships)

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Intermediate Interior Designer with a passion for hospitality design to join a creative team in New York City. The successful candidate would ideally have experience in designing hotel guest rooms and will be proficient in AutoCAD. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic environment while contributing to exciting projects in the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of hotel guest rooms and other hospitality spaces, ensuring adherence to client standards and design intent.
• Create detailed construction documentation and specifications using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
• Participate in design presentations and client meetings, contributing innovative ideas and solutions.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design quality is maintained throughout construction.
• Support junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
• Stay informed about industry trends and materials to enhance design approaches and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in hospitality interior design, preferably with hotel guest room projects in your portfolio.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with design software (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A collaborative mindset and a keen eye for detail.
