Position Title: Director, Capital Markets Internal Wholesaler

About the Opportunity:

We’re looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Internal Salesperson/Wholesaler to join our team. In this role, you will partner with an external senior salesperson to prospect financial intermediaries such as Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs)and select Wealth Management platforms, as well as focus on Family Offices, to raise capital for Redbrick’s private real estate investment offerings. You’ll take charge of prospecting new business, building lasting relationships, working closely with internal partners such as Operations and Compliance, and helping our external sales team grow our presence within these critical client segments in specific regions of the country

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Prospecting & Relationship Management:
  • Support external sales in the identification and prospecting of new business opportunities with RIAs and Family Offices. Apply creativity and out-of-the-box thinking while adhering to compliance requirements to “get in the door” to meet new prospects.
  • Proactively reach out to prospective RIAs and Family Offices to initiate relationships and generate qualifying opportunities with RIAs and Family Offices.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure alignment with external partner sales efforts.
  • Secure, schedule, and coordinate meetings between prospects and external sales and manage the sales process through onboarding an investor.
  • Product Knowledge & Sales Support:
  • Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of the firm’s offerings designed for RIAs and Family Offices.
  • Respond to inquiries from RIAs and Family Offices, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
  • Track completed tasks, input meeting notes, and record relevant information in Salesforce CRM as prospects move through the sales process.
  • Support the sales process through adherence to proper compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration with External Partners:
  • Work closely with external sales to develop and execute targeted sales strategies for the RIA and Family Office market.
  • Provide administrative and sales support, including managing client data, preparing presentations, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Client & Market Intelligence:
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the RIA and Family Office landscape.
  • Gather feedback from clients and prospects to inform the development of new product offerings or enhancements.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing RIAs, Family Offices, and key decision-makers.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Applicants will be required to complete a satisfactory background check as a condition of employment.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required to perform the functions of this role. Applicants not possessing these licenses will be turned away.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence clients and external partners.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in a wholesaling, internal sales, or sales support role within the financial services industry, with a specific focus on RIAs and Family Offices preferred.
  • An understanding of 506(b) private offerings, Opportunity Zone Investing, and opportunistic real-estate development.
  • Strong knowledge of the RIA and Family Office markets and the challenges and opportunities they face.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary commensurate with experience but generally the salary range is between $75,000 and $100,000; commissions in addition to salary are earned based on sales.
