Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Islamic Studies Teacher located in Wayne, NJ. The Islamic Studies Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, facilitating classroom discussions, and engaging students in learning activities. The teacher will also be responsible for assessing student progress, providing guidance and support, and participating in school events and extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Islamic Studies to students in [Elementary/Middle/High School – adjust as needed]
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with our mission of developing future Muslim leaders and our Islamic Studies curriculum standards
- Foster a nurturing and respectful classroom environment rooted in Islamic ethics
- Integrate Quran, Hadith, Seerah, Fiqh, and Islamic history into classroom instruction
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with staff and administration to support student development and school goals
- Participate in school events and Islamic celebrations
