Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full due diligence process for land acquisitions, from initial site assessment to seamless handoff to development teams.
• Manage and coordinate third-party consultants—including surveyors, environmental specialists, engineers, and planners—ensuring clear scopes, high-quality deliverables, and adherence to timelines.
• Partner with the Director of Due Diligence to guide acquisition strategy, evaluate site feasibility, and prioritize risk mitigation.
• Analyze and summarize consultant reports, highlighting critical issues, permitting constraints, and potential risks for executive review.
• Develop scopes of work and RFPs, negotiate contracts, and maintain oversight of multiple vendors simultaneously.
• Maintain comprehensive master files, digital records, and checklists to ensure regulatory, technical, and contractual compliance.
• Facilitate internal coordination meetings and maintain effective communication across all departments involved in acquisition and entitlement activities.
• Oversee scheduling and budgeting for due diligence efforts, including preparation of presentations and materials for investment committees, with consistent reporting throughout the process.
• Track permitting progress and jurisdictional requirements, proactively identifying potential delays or compliance challenges.
