Position: Lead Teacher

Location: Des Moines, IA

Hours: Full Time Position

Pay: Starting at $15/hour

Responsibilities:

• The ability to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people is of the utmost importance.
• Be a Playtime Prodigy! Engage kiddos in fun and educational adventures.
• Safety Superstar! Keep our little ones safe and smiling.
• Champion of Kindness! Create a welcoming and inclusive space for every child.
• Parent Communicator Extraordinaire! Keep parents in the loop with effective and friendly communication.
• The ability to receive hugs from each child in the class…all at once (while also managing the feelings of the kiddo who didn't get to hug you first).

Requirements:

• Prior experience in childcare preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Must be willing to learn and appreciation our core values which are: Collaboration, Innovation, Communication, Nurturing, Positivity & Fun!
• Ability to work well in a team
• Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. the ability to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
• Infant – Pre-Kindergarten Teachers: 2 Year degree in early childhood or related field preferred
