Position: Lead Teacher

Location: Des Moines, IA

Hours: Full Time Position

Pay: Starting at $15/hour

Responsibilities:

The ability to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people is of the utmost importance.
Be a Playtime Prodigy! Engage kiddos in fun and educational adventures.
Safety Superstar! Keep our little ones safe and smiling.
Champion of Kindness! Create a welcoming and inclusive space for every child.
Parent Communicator Extraordinaire! Keep parents in the loop with effective and friendly communication.
The ability to receive hugs from each child in the class…all at once (while also managing the feelings of the kiddo who didn't get to hug you first).

Requirements:

Prior experience in childcare preferred
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Must be willing to learn and appreciation our core values which are: Collaboration, Innovation, Communication, Nurturing, Positivity & Fun!
Ability to work well in a team
Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. the ability to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
Infant – Pre-Kindergarten Teachers: 2 Year degree in early childhood or related field preferred
