Job Description

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Legal Secretary to join an international, business-focused law firm in Uptown Dallas. This is a multi-practice role with a strong focus on litigation, offering the opportunity to work closely with one shareholder and a few associates. This position is direct hire, full-time, and hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel for attorneys
  • Manage new client intake and conflict checks
  • Prepare and process high-volume client billing and receivables
  • Draft, revise, and format legal documents
  • Maintain electronic and paper client files
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and text
  • Support attorneys with time entry and expense reporting
  • Collaborate with other Legal Secretaries and internal departments

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
  • Litigation experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and e-filing (state and federal courts)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
