Role description:
The Line Monitor visually examines and inspects in-process and packed ware. The Line Monitor performs physical tests and detailed visual and specification inspections including spot checks using the established sampling plan.
Compensation and Schedule:
The starting pay rate for this role is $23.39 per hour. Any future increases are dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Rotating swing shift schedule - first, second and third shifts
Responsibilities:
Visually inspect and record packed ware using established sampling plan and report as necessary
Check and record annealing, finish coating, and cold end spray
Conduct internal pressure test and thermal shock
Monitor and react to machine losses
Record discarded mold numbers and re-check discarded mold numbers
Reselect held ware, hand packs, hand stacks, etc. as required
Follow all food safety rules and regulations
Minimum skills / qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to physically perform all related tasks associated with the position
Must be able to stand for 8 hours
Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds
Preferred skills / qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
