We are seeking a skilled Assistant Manager - Toom Room to join the team! The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supervising tool room staff, including assigning tasks, training, and performance evaluations, training new staff, and training apprentices.

Assistant Tool Room Manager will be responsible for making and developing production tooling including stamping and forming dies, CNC machining fixtures, inspection gages, assembly tooling, and product test equipment or to make improvements to existing tooling.

Requirements :

• Leadership 5+ years of experience in the Tool Room environment (ideally, electronics)
• Experience with training and developing the new wave of Tool Makers.
• The ability to build and troubleshoot various types of tools including stamping/forming dies, molds, fixtures, gages, and assembly tooling.
• The ability to use and apply shop mathematics including geometry, trigonometry, and
• The ability to design and make your own small fixtures and jigs for machining operations.
• The ability to utilize Lean and Continuous Improvement principles.
• The ability to operate lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill press etc.
• Ability to use measuring instruments.
• Understand the 5s principles.
• Ability to operate all standard Tool Room Equipment.
• Build and troubleshoot new tooling per design requirements
