Redwood Outdoors is a fast-growing ecommerce company specializing in luxury Sauna and Cold Plunge products designed to bring the wellness benefits of heat and cold therapy to homes in the USA.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Merchandising Coordinator (Contract- 3 months) to play a key role in supporting our e-commerce operations by ensuring our product listings are accurate, engaging, and optimized for conversion. This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity ideal for a college student, recent graduate, or early-career professional looking to gain real-world experience in digital merchandising, marketing, and online retail. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including overseas developers and internal stakeholders—to maintain and enhance product pages, assist with new product launches, and contribute to the overall customer experience on our website.

This 3-month contract offers the potential for extension based on performance and business needs, and provides a great stepping stone into the world of e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining existing product listings by updating prices, imagery, descriptions, and other relevant information
  • Enhancing existing listings by creating and implementing new elements such as customer photos, infographics, FAQs, etc.
  • Building listings in support of new product releases
  • Working with our development team (overseas) to build and implement new website features
  • Collaborating with other company stakeholders to make sure the website is delivering a best-in-class experience for our customers
  • Other projects as requested

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in basic image editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) for product photo optimization
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills for product descriptions and other on-page content
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms – nice to have (Squarespace, Shopify, etc.)
  • Understanding of online merchandising principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for product data management
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to shifting priorities

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in (or be working towards): Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience.
  • 0-2 Years experience in internship, freelance, or project-based experience in e-commerce, marketing, retail, or digital content creation would be an asset
  • Appropriate for a college student seeking internship or new graduate, or any entry-level professional

Work Schedule:

Full time/40 hours, Monday – Friday

  • Schedule requires meeting with overseas team members (1-2 meetings per week may be held between 5-7pm – schedules to be shifted to later start/end time on those days)

Work Location :

On-site at 20730 72nd Ave S, Kent, WA 98032 (Hybrid, 1 day remote from home)

Compensation:

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into this position. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and education/certification(s). Please note: The hourly range for this position falls within this predefined range. If your compensation expectations exceed this range, we kindly ask that you refrain from applying. This ensures alignment between candidate expectations and the role’s budget.

  • Hourly Range: $26.50-$29.00 per hour
