📢 We’re Hiring: Mortgage Closer (Loan Specialist II)
Looking for an exciting opportunity in Mortgage Banking Operations ? We have an opening for a Mortgage Closer to join our dynamic team!
📍 Location: Local candidates only (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
💻 Equipment: Laptop provided
📅 Type: Contract to hire role! 6 months before becoming permanent contigent on performance!
What You’ll Do:
✔ Prepare and send closing disclosures (mail/electronic)
✔ Review title commitments, trust agreements, and POAs
✔ Coordinate approvals with title companies
✔ Process funding and wiring requests
✔ Handle bond, FHA, and VA loans
✔ Ensure TRID compliance and accuracy of disclosures
✔ Manage document verification, pre/post-closing reviews, and compliance reporting
Must-Have Skills:
✅ 3+ years of Mortgage Closing experience
✅ Strong knowledge of TRID and Closing Disclosure timing requirements
✅ Experience with Encompass (required)
✅ Familiarity with government loans and required documentation
✅ High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
✅ Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
