Job Description

Better Tomorrow Solar, an Atlanta based clean energy, mission driven company, is looking for a sales representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include proposal generation, and negotiating contracts with potential commercial, governmental, and non-profit clients.

A record of successful sales in the either commercial, governmental or non-profit sales sector is a requirement. Knowledge of solar power is not required.

Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Generating commercial, institutional, governmental leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.

Sales Representative Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field (strongly recommended).

  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial sales;
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics;
  • A commitment to excellent customer service;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with potential customers;
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks;
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 - $500,000+ per year (base salary & commission)
