Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Parts Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory management, and supporting logistics operations. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, as well as proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. 6 month Contract, Hybrid 3 days in office - located in Fountain Valley, CA Offering $26-38/hr.

Duties

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to streamline purchasing processes and enhance supplier relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in supply chain operations.
  • Create dashboards and reports that provide insights into inventory levels, logistics performance, and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking of stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory control processes to maintain accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities within the supply chain.

Skills

  • 2 year of Supply Chain Analyst or relatable position
  • SQL or Python required
  • Strong knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with logistics management and inventory control systems.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma practices is a plus.
