This is Stacey from Adecco. We're hiring Certified Pharmacy Technicians for a hybrid role in Cary, NC, with a leading specialty medications distributor. If you're interested, please respond with your resume that includes your phone #.

Requirements:

- Must have a valid Pharmacy Tech license for the state of NC

-Must be Nationally Certified (CPhT )

- Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

- Must have Data Intake experience in a pharmacy role

-Must have experience initiating prior authorizations

- High school diploma or GED.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Ability to type 45 words per minute.

- Strong data entry skills and excellent verbal/written communication.

- Must live within reasonable driving distance to Cary, NC

Pay: The anticipated wage for this position is $22

Schedule- Monday – Friday 8AM to 5PM

Location - Cary, NC (on site)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing telephonic patient counseling, nursing intervention with some support to physicians and coordination and delivery of reimbursement and other services related to the patient support programs.
  • Involves interactions with patients, physicians and other health care professionals and members of multidisciplinary team using web based, telephony and face to face means of communication.
  • Create a patient profile from a scanned or faxed image by entering correct patient and provider information to ensure all other groups can successfully serve the patient.
  • Communicate with providers regarding referral status, prescription clarification, missing
  • information, or patient concerns so that all information is collected and accurate before it reaches other teams for furthering processing
  • Documenting concise progress notes to ensure other roles within the workflow can quickly assess the status of the referral
