Equity Staffing is searching for a Pipeline Technician in Larose, Louisiana. If you enjoy working with energetic people in a collaborative environment, we want to speak with you!

Summary: Locate pipelines, oversee any excavation work, check facility stations, and maintain and relevant equipment to good working condition. Gather samples and process results, gauge tanks, prove meters, witness sampling, and monitor inbound and/or outbound pipeline shipments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide effective assistance in emergency response including containment, repair, and cleanup as well as emergency preventative actions relating to abnormal right-of-way conditions to avert any possible incident.
• Conduct line crossings, including receiving one call, reading maps, locating, contacting utilities, and landowners, as well as probing and staking the line.
• Understand and comply with all safety requirements relative to the performance of pipeline maintenance duties.
• Perform any additional tasks as requested by Pipeline Supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Trade certificate required or other equivalent training
• 5-10 years experience
