Job Description

LHH is actively recruiting for a Plant Manager on behalf of a manufacturing client located in the greater Middlebury, IN area. The successful candidate will bring experience in overseeing both facility operations and production teams. They should be skilled in evaluating each phase of the manufacturing workflow and optimizing resource utilization to achieve operational goals. A strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance is essential to foster a secure and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant functions including budgeting, production timelines, and inventory levels
• Promote and maintain a safe, organized, and clean facility
• Review production expenses and stock data to identify efficiency opportunities
• Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with operational standards
• Assess procedures and develop strategies to maximize resource effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline (equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree)
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role such as Plant or Production Manager
• Proven background in plant operations and team leadership
• Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory abilities
