Your role at Clorox:

As a Process (Reliability) Engineer at Clorox, you’ll focus on evaluating equipment and processes to develop focused improvement plans. Continuous improvement methodology is facilitated through utilizing the TRACC continuous improvement strategy. This hands-on role includes analyzing equipment failure data, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. You’ll lead small to medium-sized projects, apply advanced problem-solving, and collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure practical, effective solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical solutions and assess capital project feasibility.
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement Methodologies to improve specific equipment issues
  • Study Line Processes to identify areas of improvement
  • Manage engineering administrative functions to support project progression.
  • Oversee design, construction, and execution of small capital projects.
  • Solicit and evaluate contractor bids, coordinating with external suppliers and consultants to meet project goals.
  • Participate in technical seminars to stay current with industry advancements and encourage cross-functional learning.
  • Train on-site technicians, fostering skills and knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and drive adherence to Clorox Project Management Standards, with a focus on safety.
  • Advocate for engineering innovation within the packaging area and across the facility.
  • Support cost savings initiatives, manage capital budget processes, and ensure project spending aligns with budget objectives.
  • Act as liaison to ensure Operations Readiness is properly planned and executed
  • Support Production efforts, as needed
  • Lead Autonomous Maintenance and other equipment reliability projects

What we look for:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of process and equipment reliability improvements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Equivalent (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, and OSHA standards (preferred)
  • 2+ years in capital project management within manufacturing (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of batch, continuous, and discrete manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and direct cross-functional teams to exceptional results.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills for task prioritization.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with availability for after-hours and weekend support (as needed).
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical schematics.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods or similar industries.

The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $69,600 - $127,400

–Zone B: $63,800 - $116,800

–Zone C: $58,000 - $106,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
