Your Job:

As a Product Merchandiser, you will play a key role in shaping our seasonal product assortments to ensure we deliver the right product mix to achieve our business goals and create demand for our products. This role blends data-driven analysis with creative merchandising strategy to optimize product profitability, drive business growth, and amplify our brand's market presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Product team to develop seasonal assortments from a merchandising perspective, ensuring collections are compelling, commercially viable, and aligned with financial goals and customer expectations.
  • Lead SKU rationalization initiatives to streamline the product line and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze sales performance across categories and report key insights to guide merchandising decisions.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis to identify trends, whitespace opportunities, and emerging threats.
  • Partner with the Sales team to optimize product presentations and merchandising strategies for wholesale accounts and retail partners.
  • Collaborate on planogram development and provide product placement recommendations to enhance in-store and digital shelf appeal.
  • Support DTC (direct-to-consumer) growth through curated product assortments and seasonal merchandising strategies.
  • Share actionable product feedback and sell-through insights with the Product Development team to inform future designs.
  • Coordinate and deliver quarterly product reviews, highlighting performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Liaise with the Customer Service team to address product-related inquiries and surface recurring customer feedback.
  • Ensure product assortments and attributes are accurately represented across all customer-facing materials and channels.
  • Identify opportunities for product line extensions, category expansions, or seasonal capsule collections.
  • Create comprehensive product briefs that include key selling points, competitive positioning, and merchandising strategy.
  • Monitor sell-in, sell-through, and margin performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in product merchandising, buying, or a related area
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Keen product sensibility and an eye for commercial trends
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and merchandising/data analysis tools
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Experience in the apparel, footwear, or accessories industry preferred

Paid Time Off and Company Paid Holidays:

  • Feetures offers 20 PTO days which are available to you on day-one of employment. After 5 years, PTO days increase to 25.
