Project Manager – Commercial Mechanical HVAC

A leading commercial construction company in Central Houston is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial mechanical HVAC projects, particularly in healthcare construction. This is a key leadership role overseeing all phases of mechanical/HVAC projects to ensure quality, safety, budget, and schedule compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of commercial HVAC projects from initiation to completion
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to meet project goals
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical sketches
• Oversee installation procedures for HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Ensure quality control, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to schedules and budgets
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of experience managing commercial mechanical HVAC projects ( required )
• Proven experience in healthcare construction ( required )
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration products, equipment, and installation procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and shop drawings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment background, criminal, and drug screening
