• Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7a–3:30p, 7:30a–4p, or 8a–4:30p
• On-Call Shift Schedule: Every other week, simultaneous with outpatient coverage
• Call Type: Telephone; inpatient consultation (rare)
• Call Ratio: 1:2
COVERAGE DATES
• Full-time ongoing assignment (22 shifts per month expected)
• Must be available for at least one year
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults only (100%)
• Patient Volume/Census: Avg. 30 treatments per day
• Admissions: 0 on average
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: Breast, Lung, Prostate, and other organ sites
• Consults: 8–12 per week (split with another physician)
• Daily Caseload: 2 new consults, 1 re-evaluation, 2 follow-ups; 2–3 simulations/day

• Trauma Level: Level II
• EMR System: Aria RO, Epic/IP Powerchart
• Specialty Backup Available: Peer review sessions Tuesday afternoons
• Support Staff: 2 physicists, 2 dosimetrists, 6 radiation therapists, 3 nurses, 2 front office staff, 1 financial counselor
• Reason for Coverage: Other coverage need

• Brachytherapy for cylinders (note: locums generally not placed on materials license)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Pennsylvania license preferred (will consider IMLC in hand or candidates obtaining license)
• Board: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: None required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Other Qualifications: Highly prefer local or drive-in candidates
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide outpatient and occasional inpatient radiation oncology services
• Manage 30 treatments per day alongside a clinical team
• Conduct 2 new consults, 1 re-evaluation, and 2 follow-up visits daily
• See all on-treatment patients every Tuesday
• Perform 2–3 simulations daily and review images
• Participate in weekly chart rounds (Wed, 8a) and network peer review (Tues afternoons)
• Participate in call coverage every other week (rare inpatient consults, patient calls)
