Role Description:

  • Oversee the construction management of a high-value residential project in Beverly Hills, currently in a critical remediation phase.
  • Take ownership of an existing site with significant structural and roofing issues.
  • Manage all on-site operations, contractors, and consultants to bring the project back on track safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to schedule, budget (approx. $45M), and quality standards throughout the build.
  • Identify construction risks early and implement mitigation strategies to protect the integrity and value of the asset.
  • Provide transparent and proactive reporting on progress, costs, and challenges to senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate structural assessments, permit updates, and revised construction plans in alignment with local regulations.
  • Lead the push for high-quality delivery on a tight timeline, with a projected 9–12 month turnaround.

Requirements:

  • Must have hands-on construction management experience, particularly in residential renovation or redevelopment.
  • Proven ability to take over distressed or mismanaged sites and bring them to successful completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural work, roofing systems, and general residential construction practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders under pressure.
  • Based in or near Los Angeles, with availability to start immediately and commit for the full contract duration.
  • Experience working on luxury or high-value homes, especially in Beverly Hills or comparable markets, is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with local permitting, code compliance, and contractor management in California.
  • Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex site challenges, and maintain accountability across all trades.
