Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced RN Float Pool Staffing Coordinator to join their client's dedicated team in Maryland. This role is vital to ensuring optimal staffing for inpatient and outpatient units, balancing the needs of both the staff and patients. The position offers a rotating shift schedule, providing a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign staff to inpatient/outpatient units based on census and acuity.
  • Manage and update unit schedules, float pool assignments, and call-outs.
  • Coordinate orientation for agency/travel RNs.
  • Monitor patient admissions and assign beds accordingly.
  • Communicate regularly with unit leaders to adjust staffing as needed.
  • Track scheduling data, payroll changes, and agency documentation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of staffing or scheduling experience (2 years preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable using scheduling and payroll systems.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including overnight and weekend hours.

Additional Details

Salary Range: $47,000 per year, with a pay range of $22.51 - $25.00 per hour.
