About the Role:

Job Title: Sales and Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify revenue opportunity while analyzing usage reports to ensure online product security compliance
  • Collaborate with Strategic Markets to reduce compliance issues and maximize customer retention, sales revenue and net sales profit
  • Qualify, implement, and maintain mandated groups with bi-annual review for new sales opportunity
  • Administrate pricing compliance by validating new sales fall in line with current pricing strategies and promotions, as well as work to bring groups under a single, cohesive agreement to align pricing
  • Monitor and analyze complimentary accounts and integration partners for sales opportunity
  • Monitor third party websites and work with host to remove piracy advertisements
  • Create, manage and report on product trials for customers
  • Set account limits and stage resets to clear out remote activity
  • Collaborate with Business Systems and IT to improve processes and tools
  • Handle API set up/monitoring for 3rd party integration partners
  • Research large groups out of compliance to generate leads and sales opportunity
  • Meet revenue targets each period through lead generation
  • Handle and maintain incoming support tickets
  • Collaborate with departments to deliver customer retention, sales revenue and net sales profit
  • Maintain group research and account relationships in CRM
  • Use solution selling tactics to provide options to compliance customers and prospects in the form of education, license sales, additional nodes and/or upgrades to enterprise products
  • Prepare contracts for compliance sales
  • This position has no direct reports

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years’ sales or comparable sales type experience.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Strong sales and closing skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Internet products, security standards and styles.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential. Ability to analyze and manage workload independently, as well as to contribute constructively in a team environment.
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, more specifically EXCEL
  • Basic understanding of SQL
  • Experience in product security compliance is a plus.

Location: Elk Grove, CA

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $60,000 – $70,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
