Summary

Our client is seeking a Sales Assistant to support sales operations and customer service in their Lower Westchester, NY office. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing orders, managing pricing records, and coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service mindset, excellent multitasking skills, and experience in a fast-paced office environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for prospective and current customers via phone and email.
  • Process orders, provide pricing quotes, and coordinate with vendors to manage inventory availability.
  • Maintain customer and vendor pricing records, ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns, including billing or service-related issues.
  • Support internal operations by collaborating with sales, logistics, and administrative teams.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including answering phones, filing, and providing coverage for team members when necessary.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in client support or sales support in an office setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • An engaging personality with a strong work ethic and proactive mindset.
