Basic Job Functions: Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. The role of the Scrap Crane Operator is to safely operate the scrap crane during operations and during times of maintenance at the facility. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to loading scrap into the scrap buckets, utilizing system processes to track scrap loading volumes, maintaining consistent standards of scrap mix loading, coordinating operations with the entire melt shop team.Minimum Qualifications:
