Position: Business Analyst

Location: Akron, Ohio (5 days/week onsite)

Shifts/Schedule: 8am-5pm

Duration: 6 month contract

Pay Rate: $35-50/hr

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst for one of our largest clients in Akron, Ohio. This individual will be responsible for leading, or co-leading, complex and/or global digital and IT project tasks delivering business results that meet deadlines, in addition to providing guidance to project resources within and across multiple teams. They will perform business and system analysis, interpret data to identify gaps in technology or processes, and make recommendations with the IT and/or business function. They will be contributing to projects in disciplines surrounding business and engineering systems, edge data integration support and development, application support and development, and more.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of related business analysis experience.
• Knowledge of IT project management standards and techniques.
• Strong experience with user requirements mapping, documentation, and delivering business results.
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure needs.
• Ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous Manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience with MS SQL or Oracle.
• Experience with edge connectivity or edge data integration support.
• SCADA Integration, Ignition, Predator, Littmann, etc.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate existing technology to support changes in business requirements.
• Establish and communicate procedures for proper utilization of digital and technical solutions
• Assist in onboarding, training, and supporting business team members with IT technical needs
• Understand how applications and technologies are utilized within the business.
• Assists in the development and implementation of new technologies/services including communication and reporting to key stakeholders on status and project closure.
• Communicates decisions & formalize recommendations impacting area of responsibility to manager and business partners and key stakeholders where appropriate
• Point of contact assisting with most communications and project expectations with 3rd party IT and service vendors
• Delivers multiple solutions while managing conflicting priorities and resources
• Conducts knowledge transfer and/or cross training with team members
• Empowering and encouraging team members to provide feedback on ideas that deliver quality solutions
