• Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• Troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues related to networking and security.
• Create firewall rules for environments.
• Assist the Operations and cloud team as requested.
• Maintain and keep track of all technical duties related to cloud networking such as design, implementation, and support.
• Manage, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues: utilization/throughput, slowness, and unexpected latency.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto VM Series firewall and Panorama configuration and optimization — 5 years required.
• Experience with routers, routing protocols, transit gateways, load balancing, and overall cloud networking, including VPCs, subnets, routes, security — 3 years required.
• Experience with security best practices and implementing security controls in an AWS cloud environment — 5 years required.
• Experience with VPN technologies, including IPsec and SSL technologies — 5 years required.
• Ability to work on large TCP/IP networks, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting — 3 years required.
• Experience with name services and resolution, associated IP assignments — required.
• Knowledge of core network services, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM technologies — required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex cloud networking infrastructure issues — required.
• Self-motivated with a strong team-oriented and collaborative attitude — required.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud infrastructure components: compute, storage, network management, and monitoring (network and security) — highly desired.
• Knowledge of WAF as a Service (AWS, Azure, GCP) — desired.
