Job Description

The Sr. Data Scientist will be responsible for leading the data science activities for the organization to support patient recruitment delivery efforts and analyze business performance results. The individual will be responsible for managing a team of data analysts, delivering study data reconciliation results, strategizing and creating advanced reporting dashboards for executives and clients, and conducting ad hoc analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will:

  • Develop Data Strategy: Enable the organization to maximize the impact of data-driven insights through advanced analytics. Build effective channels to capture and continuously improve strategy based on business results and stakeholder feedback.
  • Advanced Reporting: Create and maintain advanced reporting with clear and actionable visualizations to enable stakeholder teams. Own and optimize reporting and visualization platforms and technologies.
  • Performance Results: Ensure consistent, timely and accurate delivery of study and client results in support of the Service Delivery organization
  • Streamline Processes: Collaborate across the organization to identify analytics processes and enable continuous improvement of activities
  • Team Leadership: Build a team of high-performing data analysis experts, supporting their growth and career development

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage delivery of weekly study reconciliation results, team and client reporting
  • Support study validation activities to ensure on-time launch of projects
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain data access for key stakeholders
  • Create and maintain reporting for key results and business performance insights
  • Provide expertise and strategy for data insight measurement and interpretation
  • Optimize existing data activities to streamline processes
  • Lead a team of data analysts, managing workload and results, providing support, and enabling career development
  • Collaborate with leaders across the organization to understand data needs

Key Qualifications:

  • 5 – 8 years’ experience in data science and/or advanced analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience working in a healthcare-adjacent field is preferred
